Michael J. McDonough is a writer, director, actor and producer. As a teen actor he appeared on television shows including Baa Black Sheep, Lucas Tanner and the Walton's. He continued his studies earning a bachelor degree in Film/TV and Theatre Arts at the University of Idaho and Masters Degree in Film/Video from California Institute of the Arts. He worked for PBS affiliate KUID TV as a documentary producer, camera operator and location sound-man, penned "The Rescue" (sold to Show Time) and went on to produce , direct and write and act in his other films, "The Real Zombie Hunters of America", "Michael & Nancy's Everest" and "Monster Cops". "The Real Zombie Hunters of America" swept the 2013 LAWEB FEST awards gathering awards for producing, writing, acting, directing, editing, sound design theme song and the LAWEB FEST- Marseilles advanced selection award. Partnering with long time collaborator David Nathan Schwartz they founded Mike & Dave Productions co-writing, co- producing and co-directing their new "Monster Comedy" Monster Hunters USA (And Day Care Center).
