Sara is a diverse actor with a talent for character comedy. In 2019 she was nominated for Best Actress in The Welsh International Film Festival for the short, Planning The Funeral. She started her career graduating with a BA Hons in Creative Arts from Trent University and quickly won roles in theatre, TV and film Her first job was with Bill Hayes in Time After Time for The BBC, other credits are A Question of Guilt directed by Stuart Orme, The Bill with Bill Pryde, the comedy Space Virgins From Planet Sex with Peter Richardson of Comic Strip fame and Accentuate The Positive for Channel 4 alongside Gary Kemp. Her film work includes the thriller A Kiss Before Dying starring Matt Dillon, Spirit by Jonathan Ripley and more recently several short films. A highlight of theatre roles, was playing Lenin's secretary in The October Revolution directed by Vanessa Redgrave at The Riverside Studios. The 90's saw her cast in numerous corporate films and adverts. After raising a family and working in the corporate world for many years, she turned her attention to writing and directing alongside resuming her acting career. Championing female actors over 50, Sara is writing her own material for her production company Flintspark Productions while looking for inspiring roles that reflect the lives of these women.
