Amanda Rowe

Amanda Rowe was born in Exeter, Devon, England on 27th November 1978 as Amanda Mary Weeks. She is a music composer and producer known for award winning sci fi feature films Robot world (2015) and Alien Outbreak (2020). Amanda has been married to film director/writer/visual effects artist Neil Rowe since 2008. Together they founded Rendered Pictures production and VFX studio based in Exeter, UK. Amanda studied fine art at Exeter college and at the University of Wales Institute Cardiff where she graduated with BA Hons 2:1. Robot world won won best feature film at the Unreal film festival, Texas. Best directing at Hyperdrive film festival, UK. Best feature VFX at the other worlds film festival Austin and received an Honoury mention at the Boston sci fi film festival. Alien Outbreak won Best feature at the Berlin Sci Fi film festival in 2020, Won best director at the Caligari International Horror Film Festival 2021, and was a finalist at the Horror Hound Film Festival 2020.
