Wadooah Wali

Wadooah Wali - Executive Producer, Writer, Director and often-times freelance public relations & communications strategist for new and emerging digital media and entertainment platforms. In addition to assisting brands (from launches, through acquisitions, to taking companies public) she is also an award-winning documentary filmmaker & entrepreneur. As a communications executive with a more than a decade of experience in the digital entertainment industry, Wadooah dedicates her media expertise to writing, directing and producing various projects in film, web and audio content. As a natural born storyteller and a true "Media Maven," her work has appeared, been viewed and heard across digital to traditional media -radio, newspaper, books, television and the web via disruptive startup new media companies- by millions collectively worldwide through her years of creating content for companies and independently. Naturally complementing her knowledge of content creation in a new media world, her love of the written word and her ability to find "the story," Wadooah founded Parking Meter Productions in April of 2010 - an independent production company. Her first feature-length documentary, "Gaze of the Beholder" written, directed and produced by Wadooah, was awarded Third Place in the feature documentary category at the Capital City Black Film Festival in late 2013. In 2014, the indie doc was also recently accepted into the Women's International Film Festival, Imperfectu: International Film & Gender Studies Festival and the St. Tropez International Film Festival where the doc, nominated for seven, picked up the award for 'Best Editing of a Documentary Feature.' Wadooah earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from the University of South Florida and currently resides in Los Angeles. In spite of her ongoing ambitions in content, Wadooah's life and heart are ruled by her four-legged, fur-companion who takes her for walks and outings in the park.
