Martin Blais toured in Quebec with the theatre play "Rendez-vous suspects." He subsequently made his way to TV series and films (French and English). His first role on the big screen was that of a spartan warrior from the second wave in the 2005 Montreal-shot blockbuster movie "300." He played roles in Quebec TV Series "Tout sur moi," "La Galère," "L'auberge du chien noir" and "La Mélancolite" and he will also appear in the upcoming Netflix series "The Recruit." He appeared in several films including some who were featured in film festivals around the world. He wrote, produced and directed three short films. His film "The Road Ahead (Where do we go from here?)" was awarded the Best Short Film Critics Choice award at the "Direct Monthly Online Film Festival" and also earned the "Best First Time Producer Award" and the "Best Covid Film Award" at the "OTB International Film Festival."
