Mikail Chowdhury

Mikail Chowdhury is an Emmy nominated producer and award-winning Director, Writer and playwright. Hailing from Bangladesh and ethnically Bangladeshi/Mexican/British, he grew up in London and lives between Washington, DC and LA. His scripted work includes Directing and Writing feature film THE PARTY which premiered at the New York International Film & Video Festival with theatrical screenings in LA, Las Vegas and is included in the British Film Institute catalogue. He produced the award-winning short film OAK TREES and short films NIMZO (which premiered at Outfest in LA), VAN SANCTUARY (official selection for CAAMS and the New Orleans Film Festival) and OUR DARKEST HOUR. He Directed and Produced short film THE MULTI with a majority deaf cast and crew. Mikail was Showrunner and a Director on the short form series THE MYTH OF CONTROL, and Produced/Co-Wrote spinoff short film AIMEE VICTORIA (premiered at aGLIFF PRISM in Austin and official selection for 15 film festivals). His unscripted work includes producing Home for the Holidays with Paul Wharton & Patti Labelle and A Joyous Holiday with Paul Wharton & Friends.
