Alex Herz

Alex Herz is an award-winning writer, director & editor and has loved films and filmmaking from a very early age. He has a passion for making movies about those who don't often have their stories told. Alex's first feature film, "A Normal Life," was independently produced at age 19 and subsequently picked up for distribution by Indie Rights Films. The screenplay for the film was selected to be a part of the Core Collection at the Library of the Academy of Arts & Sciences. Alex is a graduate of Northwestern University, and holds a degree in Radio, Film, and TV. He most recently completed his latest project, Wild Combination, a pilot presentation starring Allie Grant (Weeds, Suburgatory, The Goldbergs) and Mateus Ward
