Born in Oshawa, Canada, Robyn Leigh Cobham spent her childhood/teen years in many different cities in Ontario as well as in England. Having a natural talent for acting, she started performing in school plays at a young age. In her formative years, Robyn decided she would make a go at becoming a TV/Film actress. Not having the money for her dream school the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) in London, Robyn enrolled in an acting/modelling agency in Toronto. Soon after she decided to visit Hollywood, California. Robyn filmed her first on camera role in an independent film, she has yet to actually view, in Los Angeles and studied under some established Actors/Directors. David 'Shark' Fralick was noted as saying Robyn reminded him of Helena Bonham Carter. Robyn soon returned to Toronto, Canada to pursue the industry closer to home. Signing with Applause Bickerton Talent, she gained experience on major film sets including background work on The Strain (2014). Over the past 10 years she has worked behind the scenes and in front of the camera on notable independent features such as The Gamers: Natural One (2013) & Humans & Households (2013) and performed stunts in Echo Park (2018) , in partnership with Stunt Coordinator/Actor Justin Moses . Another notable appearance was in American Mystery (2019) in Episode 6- Close Encounters, as 3 different aliens and a Polygraph aide. During the filming of her Alien scenes, the director exclaimed that Robyn seemed to be born to play an Alien. Now in her late 20's, with more life experience and a true commitment to her craft, Robyn plans to make a name for herself in the TV/Film industry. Working with an established stunt team over the last few years has given her a new set of skills and an ever increasing sense of who she is. Finding inspiration and a muse has given Robyn the drive she needs to succeed in anything, and in 2020 she has her sights set on the UK industry.
