In mid-2006, Honda was scouted by seven different people on the same day, which became the reason behind her entering the entertainment industry. The Rakugo Movie (2012) successfully and historically got ranked as the #1 bestseller DVD Movie (the ranking range includes the total sales of foreign DVD cinemas) in Japan by Oricon Inc. Moreover, on October 22, 2013. And it is the first film which her acting was shown at Grauman's Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, California, 2012. She now keeps her acting works in TV networks and film industries.
