Maria Alejandra Molina is an actress and tv host born in Caracas, Venezuela. At the age of 17 she obtained a scholarship to study International Baccalaureate in Waterford Kamhlaba, Mbabane, Swaziland; one of the United World Colleges which was chaired by Nelson Mandela and former Queen Noor of Jordan. Once she graduated, she enrolled in Simón Bolívar University in Caracas, majoring in Materials Engineering with a Minor in Metal-Mechanics. She worked as an engineer in Spain, Germany and later on went to Mexico to work in the oil industry but her life turned around a radical 180 degrees when in march 2010 she decided to quit her career and start studying at CEFAT, TV Azteca's acting school. In 2011 she had her first acting opportunity in the tv series "Bajo el Alma", she performed as Caridad (Antagonistic role), for TV Azteca 7. In 2012 she performed the role of "Dr.Aura", a resident for Grey's Anatomy México ("A Corazón Abierto"). The same year (and up to date), she has been the host for Platinum, the brand for recent blockbuster movie releases in Azteca 7. With Platinum she went to host the 84th and 85th Academy Awards for TV Azteca. In 2013 she became "Sara", in the Azteca 13 comedy "Corazón en Condominio"
