Born in the state of Piauí, Dadá Coelho is a comedian, performer, actress, and screenwriter. She was considered one of the greatest revelations of comedy on Jô Soares's talk show, and she is known for her wit and quick one-liners that walk the line between the polemic and the sarcastic eroticism. Currently living in Rio de Janeiro, her comedy career began with a performance in the Carnaval block Me Beija Que Eu Sou Cineastra as the president of the Eu Dou Pra Ser Atriz wing. In addition, she did stand-up comedy and hosted the show Vende-se Usado. Proibido Para Menores de 18cm. She also had her own comedy show, Ali Dadá e as 40 Confissões (2011). In 2012, she was an intrepid reporter for Fantástco in the segment A Gente Ganha Pouco, Mas Se Diverte. She also acted as a daily comedy commentator on Radio Globo between 2011 and 2015. In fiction, she worked in the telenovela Flor do Caribe (2013), on TV Globo. In 2015, she took part in the show Amor & Sexo, and she also made the Big Brother Brasil bulletins in 2016. She was a screenwriter for the films Anything for a Pop Star (screenplay by Thalita Rebouças, directed by Bruno Garotti) and Lucicreide Goes to Mars (directed by Rodrigo César). She also acted in the movie Running After (directed by Jerferson De). In 2018 and 2019, she toured in theaters around Brazil with her comedy play, Corta. In 2022, she was in the movies Vovó Ninja (directed by Bruno Barreto) and Dad Rocks (directed by Caito Ortiz), and also in the HBOMax series GaleraFC. She won two Folha de São Paulo awards as Best Comedy Actress for A Culpa é da Carlota, on Comedy Central. She is currently performing her comedy show Cuscuz na Mão.
