I have always been deeply drawn to the past. My passion for history is a major driving force for me. I take any opportunity to educate others on historical themes, locations, and artifacts. It is boring for some, but history is so much more than names and dates. It is the story of us - the narrative of a people. History is their hopes, dreams, struggles, loss and triumph. More than that, history is our guiding mechanism, a way forward. As Shakespeare wrote in the Tempest, "past is prologue".
