Jeremy Darby was born into slavery at a fine arts camp, where he was raised, an eternal student to the biddings of his slave-artist parents. When he was old enough (fifteen), he become a counselor at the camp, and he discovered how well he could act, since he played a convincing role as the counselor. Writer/director/actor/makeup artist/cameraman/editor/stuntman Nicholas Holland was picking up his brother from the camp one summer, and spoke to Jeremy about his brother's behavior problems. Jeremy revealed he was an actor, and got himself cast in Holland's debut film A Way Out (2011), as the character Dan, an eccentric yet palatable engineer/angler. As of November 2011, Darby resides in Michigan with his dog, furiously scrubbing the paint off the walls.
