George Knowles

George Knowles develops projects through his company, Beaumaris Corporation, using his experience as a senior executive, business owner/entrepreneur and Chartered Accountant (CPA). Knowles' career as an executive in the film and television industry culminated in his role as CFO of Atlantis Communications (Atlantis later became Alliance Atlantis, producer of CSI and other shows). Prior to this he worked in Los Angeles for Brian Grazer and Ron Howard's Imagine Entertainment as Director of Finance. The Imagine management team met Knowles through their relationship with Universal (MCA) where Knowles was Assistant Controller of the television division in Universal City, Los Angeles. Knowles' entertainment industry career began a manager with the entertainment division of the firm now named KPMG. Following this film industry experience, Knowles spent 12 years as CEO and owner of Royce Corporation, a privately owned retail display manufacturing company. Knowles was born in Niagara Falls, Canada, and now divides his time between Toronto, and his two farms near Collingwood, Ontario.
