Classically trained, Pauline graduated with a B.A.Acting (Distinction) from Queen Margaret College in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1998 under the helm of Clive Perry (UK) and Lynn Bains (USA). As a former student of Uta Hagen, Lynn's teaching was influenced heavily by Hagen's work. Whilst at college, Pauline had the unique opportunity to participate in a week-long development workshop for The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (Royal National Theatre UK) with Phyllida Lloyd and Fiona Shaw. Since returning to Melbourne, Pauline has studied extensively with teachers such as Peter Sardi, Marilyn McIntyre, Stephan Costan, Rohan Jones and others. In 2016 she graduated from the Howard Fine Acting Studio's part-time program, as well as being a Howard Fine Masterclass participant that year. After graduating from QMCU, Pauline undertook further travels, studies, and lived in New Zealand for several years. She is a registered Endorsed Enrolled Nurse and has experience in an acute general surgical & neurosurgical setting. Pauline studied violin for many years, can play easy piano and is learning guitar. She likes to spend time with her family and dog, and does regular yoga and cardio training. In 2014 she was a Traralgon marathon finisher.
