After high school she attended Ivy Tech in Evansville, IN where she is currently pursuing online her Associate of Arts. She stopped her theatre career for the first couple years in college till an opportunity in a theatre class presented itself. Ivy Tech's association with the Evansville Civic Theatre brought her once again back to the stage with her first production of the old time Christmas classic, "It's A Wonderful Life". This was no ordinary version of the classic because it was actually the Radio Play version and Amanda was honored to play one of the stars of Radio Play's, the Foley Artist. Her career with Evansville Civic Theatre went on with the play "Noises Off" and most recently the musical "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" where she graced the Lincoln Amphitheatre stage as Dan's Wife and an Egyptian Dancer. During that time she also started her film career! Taking on a project with Director Jakob Bilinski with Cinephreak Pictures in his feature film "Three Tears on Bloostained Flesh" (post-production) where she was an actor and Production Assistant. There she met fellow Director Lewis D. Chaney, co-founder of KeyChain Productions where he offered her the position of Properties Manager as well as Production Assistant on their music video "Nightwatch" by singer Mina Fedora. Amanda is currently residing in Evansville, Indiana (as of November,2012) and is once again active in the film and theatre world working on many projects and still attending Ivy Tech and later plans to transfer to the University of Southern Indiana to pursue her Bachelor's in Film and Theatre and also Minor in Journalism.
