Michael D. Calia was the director of the Ed McMahon Mass Communications Center at Quinnipiac University. Hamden, CT until 2015. He produced and directed the Emmy-nominated documentary, Justice is a Black Woman on the life and work of Judge Constance Baker Motley. The film was awarded Best Documentary at the St. Tropez International Film Festival. Calia holds a Bacgelor's degree from Boston University and a Masters degree from Wesleyan University.
