Juan, also known as the "Latin Jerry Lewis", started acting at the age of 3 when he did impersonations of his teachers in school. He then did every single school play a kid his age could and he has been acting ever since. He spent the next 12 years going to school and doing TV commercials. He attended Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City to study the Bachelor in Communication. That helped him understand the process behind the camera. His TV debut as a Series Regular was in Platanito Show, where he was a straight man for Platanito, one of Mexico's most recognized comedians. There, he worked with comedians such as Cepillin and Carlos Villagran "Kiko". He flew to Miami, Florida to sign an exclusive contract to work for a year in American network Univision at the show Despierta America. He returned to his country to work with Mexico's top comedy actor, Eugenio Derbez in the show La Familia P Luche. Over that period, he also shared credits in the show Primero Mundial with Brozo and Andres Bustamante. In 2011, he moved to LA where he attended the New York Film Academy to solidify his acting education by getting the Associates degree in Acting for Film. He has starred in over 20 student short films. He was part of the select group that formed the NYFA West Ensamble, directed by Academy award nominee actress Brenda Vaccaro, in which more than a hundred students auditioned for. "Veladoras", the last short film he starred in, was an Official Selection by the Costa Rica International Film Festival 2012 and Puerto Rico International Film Festival 2012 and an Award Of Merit by the Lucerne International Film Festival 2012. Recently, he has been doing National Commercials for clients such as Walmart. He lives in LA with his brother Daniel, who is a Director and who has a Production Company with: Lecanda Films.
