David Boyd Sr.

David M. Boyd Sr. entered the U S Army at the age of 17 in 1970 and served in Vietnam 1971-1972. He received two purple hearts and a Bronze Star Medal and left the military in 1978 as a Staff Sergeant.He continued his military service in the reserves and is currently retired from the reserves. David served with the Colorado Springs Police Department for almost fifteen years and retired from the State of Colorado as a Lieutenant after 33 years in law enforcement. David married Barbara Faye Dantzler, the love of his life, in 1973, had two children, David Jr. and Kristi Michelle Hettinger, and five grand children. David is currently operating his own business and a licensed financial representative. David has appeared in The Elves and The Incident
