Aidar Mukhametzhanov was born and raised in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since his early childhood, Aidar has always been fascinated with show business and performing arts. In 2006 he saw a national casting call for an upcoming action feature film "Racketeer" put out by one of the country's most reputable production companies Satai Film and its Director/Producer Ahan Sataev. Aidar couldn't help but go try something he always dreamed of doing since he was a child. Aidar's acting ability was immediately noticed and he was invited to meet with the director and the writer. During the callback, Aidar was hired to play the role of Asan in what later became Kazakhstan's box office's highest-grossing picture ever in history. Every household in the country watched "Racketeer." Already In 2007, he was cast in a controversial feature "Shu Chu" which was Kazakhstan's response film to the infamous "Borat". After "Shu Chu's" wide release in theaters and its worldwide media attention, there was no doubt about Aidar's acting talent. Aidar was now on a roll with national commercials, music videos of Kazakhstan's top artists, representation from the best agency, recognition from the National Film Studio - Kazakhfim and the list goes on. In 2011 Kazakhstan releases its pride and joy, the film about its culture and history, called "My People" and of course Aidar is part of it, playing the role of a Khan. In late 2012 or early 2013 Aidar moved to the USA to pursue his dreams. After a few years of language school, Aidar is admitted to San Diego Community College with a Drama Arts major. He successfully graduates the college and takes the next step to San Diego State University with the same major.
