Kaitlyn (Katie) Griggs was born in Chicago, IL and grew up in Southport, Connecticut. When she was young, she had studied at Interlochen Arts Center in Michigan and American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. In 2007, she moved to Chicago to attend The Theatre School at DePaul University. Kaitlyn graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting and a minor in Education.
