Tess Van Straaten

Tess van Straaten is a Canadian-born actress best known for "Bond of Silence", playing the role of Trudy (incorrectly credited as Tess van Stranton) Tess primarily works in television and has been a TV news anchor and reporter for more than 17 years. She's worked in TV news across Canada, appearing on national newscasts and CNN. Tess also has extensive experience as a weather presenter, spokesperson, and voice-over talent. Tess has two children, Tyler Cayman and Tate Henley, who are also both actors appearing in film and TV and doing modeling work.
