Wael Al-Masri

Wael Marwan Al-Masri, born on the 1st of January, 1979, moved to Dubai when he was 3 years old, where he grow up and studied aerospace engineering and aviation.! He taught himself about the media world in 1998, and learned how to play around with video and audio, while working on a few freelance jobs for well known local clients.! In the year 2000, he joined the 14 year old production house (Alwan Art Production) as a director's assistant, and in no time he was promoted to Assistant Director. There he produced and directed various Radio and TV Products.! In 2003, he joined CNBC Arabiya to teach reporters how to edit. He established the editing department by putting together a unique team of editors to improve the output style and quality, and headed the newly created promotions department. He was also a member of the team that worked on supporting and launching other TV Channels related to CNBC Arabiya, such as CNBC Africa and CNBC Pakistan. He has also directed a corporate film for CNBC Africa.! In 2007, he joined AMG (Arab Media Group) to head and restructure the editing department of the ATN (Arab Television Network), which was servicing various TV Channels, such as: MTV Arabia, Nickelodeon Arabia, Seen TV...etc.! In 2009, he was hired to improve and direct a TV Program about the Sea Life in UAE, presented by the 5 year world champion of powerboats international championships, Aref Al Zafien.! In the past 13 years, Wael Al-Masri has directed more than 50 Documentaries and corporate films. Produced more than 170 TV Promotions. Directed more than 3 TV Programs, trained more than 15 Unique Editors. Now, he is working on producing 3 major documentary films, 2 Chain of documentaries and 3 Reality Shows.!
