Martina Svensson

Martina was born 1988 on the west coast of Sweden, in Halmstad. She is the daughter of Yvonne Svensson (assistant nurse) and Roy Svensson (driving instructor). As a child she was a typical tom-boy who loved acting and being outdoors. At the age of 11, Tina tragically lost her bigger brother in suicide. She then gave up on her dream of becoming an actress and started focusing on horseback riding. She competed in the Swedish championships in cantering 2006 and finished in 7th place. Tina also took care of horses that other people couldn't handle and loves both the animals and the challenge. In 2007 she finished high school and left her home to go to college and study marketing. Two years in to college, her father died of cancer. Her father was her biggest inspiration, hero and also her best friend. It was after his passing that she decided to exhume her dreams of acting. Her father always told her to never to settle for anything less than she wanted and to keep on chasing her dreams until they came true. And she plans to take her father's advice.
