Heidelinde Neuburger-Dumancic

Heidelinde Neuburger-Dumancic (born in 1975 in Vienna) is a European director, writer and editor in chief. She was born and raised in Vienna, where she studied linguistics, history, communication studies and film theory. Besides studying she worked as a production assistant in Vienna's off theatre scene in the early 90ies, was an assistant director for two short films in 1997 in New York, was a film critic for Austria's first internet-based TV channel webfreetv and worked as a curator for the Austrian Film Festival Diagonale. From 2001 to 2006 she worked as a media educator for young adults and ran the youth film festival wienervideoundfilmtage. From 2006 to 2012 she worked at the community TV station OKTO as an educator and editor. Since 2012 she works at DMG-film as editor in chief, writer and director for various TV shows like Lichtspiele (2013), literaTOUR (2008), Köhlmeier erzählt etc.
