Sarah Fye made her first dramatic entrance the day she was born, when she came into the world a girl despite the doctors claims that she would most definitely be appearing that day as a boy. At the age of 3, Sarah begged to start dance class, and after many a pas de bourrée, she decided to expand her skills and study to be an actor. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Middle Tennessee State University, majoring in Theatre and Minoring in both Dance and Vocal Performance. At 22, she moved to New York City with 2 suitcases and $2200. During her time in New York, Sarah trained with some amazing teachers in the art of acting, dance, and comedy, most notably her teacher and mentor Richard Kline of the popular sitcom Three's Company. As an actor, Sarah has been compared to such greats as Goldie Hawn, Amy Schumer, and her all time favorite, Elaine Stritch. After many years of study and work as an actor, Sarah decided to branch out and begin her work as a stand up comedian. She was named the 2018 Nashville Stand Up Comic of the Year by Third Coast Comedy Club. Her hour long stand up show Completely Inappropriate premiered in Louisville to rave reviews. The show has since played to sold out audiences in Chicago and in Nashville. You can follow her weird, funny, sad, peculiar, and inspiring tales of the quest for love by reading her blog, The Other Side of Love: Romantic Tales of an Emotional Weirdo. In addition to her work as an actor, writer, and comic, Sarah teaches female empowerment and body confidence through her work as a pole dance instructor. She enjoys drinking whiskey cocktails, holding her 90 lb Boxer like a baby, studying astrology, dancing ridiculously in public, and wearing red lipstick. No one puts her in the corner.
