Born in Dublin Ireland, Chloe Gibson (21) is already a talent to watch. Acting, dancing and singing from the age of four years old, she has already worked with Ireland and the Uk's leading actors, directors and producers both on stage and on screen. She produced and directed her first short film "Bloom to Perish" at just 16. Stage trained with Claire Tighe at Theatreworx Dublin (in association with the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Arts in which Chloe has received her gold medal in performing arts), she has been involved with numerous musicals in Dublin including "Les Miserable", "Grease" & "West Side Story". Chloe played the leads as Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie, and played Penny in Hairspray.. In 2016 she was cast and played 'Peaseblossom' in a new UK feature film, a modern day adaptation of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Nights Dream" which was shot on location in Austria. It was directed by Sacha Bennett also starring Robert Lindsay, Juliet Aubrey, Dudley Sutton, Lee Boardman and Tyger Drew-Honey. Chloe also earned a small role as Emma in the feature 'The Gaelic Curse' (2016), directed by Jack Conroy (The Field / My Left Foot), shot on location in Ireland. In 2018, Chloe had her London West End theatre Debut, on the Andrew Lloyd Webber and Ben Elton musical 'The Beautiful Game'. It played the The Other Palace, owned by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Based on the troubles, The Beautiful Game directed by Hannah Chissick, with the UK National Youth Music Theatre. Producing small stage shows from a young age, In 2016 - at just 16 years of age, Chloe Gibson made her screen directorial debut with the short film 'Bloom to Perish', she also wrote and produced. 'Bloom to Perish' was shortlisted to the top 5 in the 'Moving Image Arts - Best Student Short Drama' in Northern Ireland and was it screened at the 2016 "Cinemagic / Foyle Film Festival" showcase's in Derry and in Belfast. Bloom to Perish was also invited to screen in Galway in 2016. With numerous stage shows and musicals under her belt, Chloe had her first big screen break through in 2013 landing the lead role as 'Erica', in the RCA Media TV Pilot "The Adventure Diaries - On Witches Hill". Since has been involved in a number of short films including as the lead 'Amy' in the highly successful short "Bridge to Kindness" (2014). It was selected for numerous international festivals including 8th International Children's Film Festival Bangladesh, 7th CMS International Children's Film Festival in India, the Cork Independent Film Festival 2014 and the 6th Lahore International Children's Film Festival 2014 and the Festival International Entr'2 Marches in Cannes 2015, but to name just a few. Chloe's other films include "Clumsy" (2012), the historic short "An Tain" (2011) directed by Noel Brady; the Paco Torres low budget feature film "Saol" (2013), and she played a gritty street role as 'Stacy' in the Dublin gangland short film "Dog eat Dog" (2015) directed by Gavin McDonnell. Chloe has been advanced screen trained with twice academy award long-listed film director Graham Cantwell (Film Venture London) & director Terry McMahon, (Patricks Day) and the NYMT and is continuously updating her skills, including further developing her singing voice, with Lynne McAllister for a new feature musical drama production she has landed the lead for, "Beyond the Rainbow" (2019), in development in the UK. Chloe has a Certificate in Fine Arts in Musical Theatre, from the Irish American University, and is completing her BA in MT and Acting for Screen in London.
