Lilian Mehrel

Lilian T. Mehrel is an award-winning director & writer. Her films have premiered at Tribeca and won awards from ABC/Disney, HFPA, Alfred P. Sloan, and the Tribeca Film Institute. Her latest film stars Elisa del Genio (HBO's My Brilliant Friend) and premiered in competition at an Oscar-qualifying festival. Lilian connects to wide audiences with humor and heart. She brings her creative direction and story sensibilities to star-studded campaigns for brands like Calvin Klein, TikTok, TUMI, Victoria Beckham Beauty, and Estée Lauder. She earned her MFA from NYU Tisch Grad Film with a PD Soros Fellowship for New Americans. As a Dartmouth Senior Fellow, she wrote & illustrated a memoir about her mixed-ethnicity family. She is inspired by real stories, illuminating the universalities that connect us all.
