Hugh Howey

Hugh Howey is the New York Times bestselling author of over twenty novels, including Wool, Sand, Beacon 23, Half Way Home, and Machine Learning. His books have been translated into over 40 languages and have sold millions of copies around the world. Silo, based on his trilogy of the same name, is streaming on AppleTV. Beacon 23 is due in 2023 on AMC. Prior to writing, Hugh worked as a yacht captain for over a decade. In 2015, he built a catamaran in South Africa and spent five years sailing it around the world. He lives (mostly) in New York with his wife Shay Londre.
