John Lawniczak

Whether it was making home movies with his dad's camcorder or creating stop-animations, John has always wanted to create unique stories. Growing up in a musical household, he learned to play piano at an early age and would compose his own songs with his younger brother. After attending Ashland High School in Oregon, he went on to study English Literature and music composition at Cal Poly (SLO). As an English major he quickly fell in love with writers such as Mark Twain, Edgar Allen Poe, John Keats, Sylvia Plath, and Walt Whitman. Following his graduation he moved to Los Angeles where he interned for the Late Late Show while pursuing stand up comedy. However, he soon discovered his true passion behind the camera as a director and has been writing and directing ever since.
