Eloise Edwards

Eloise is a young British actress who hails from the south-west of England. Growing up she was surrounded by music and dance, with her father running a couple of independent record labels (Heartbeat Records, Riot City Records) and her mother running a small dance school (Heartbeat School of Dancing); all within the family home. She danced as soon as she could walk, and made her stage debut aged 2. She also had a good ear for music, but sadly never had the patience to learn any instruments. Something she still wishes she had to this day. She was a fairly late bloomer into the acting world, and at 15 she enrolled at the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy, which was the first place in which she was free to indulge in her dreams of being a comic actor, participating in improvisations and scripted pieces, and bringing her own ideas to the table. From there she continued to work with other groups and study the subject through college, and ended up making a last minute decision to audition for acting academies in New York City, somewhere she had visited a lot as a child. She attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and was a member of their 2012 Academy Company. Living in Brooklyn, she found exactly who she was and exactly where she belonged and has no intentions of looking back. As of September 2012 she became a part of a Sketch Comedy Group who will be working together on numerous short films, the first project to be a "mockumentary" "behind the scenes" film following a band recording their second album, which is being released as the all important "CD/DVD Combo". At the same time, she began working on a project of her own, that she hopes will eventually evolve into a fully fledged sitcom, which will continue to tell the truth about what living in New York City is really like. From the perspective of two very sarcastic and foul-mouthed Brits. In her spare time she writes song parodies, draws, and wanders around the city aimlessly, just to see what she'll find. A personal highlight in her still very young career would be kicking Mother Nature's (the wonderful Catherine Lloyd Burns) in her first official acting gig for Tampax.
