Tim is originally from the Republic of Georgia, where he lived all his childhood before moving to Moscow, Russia, to study Business. After graduating with a Finance major, Tim moved to New Zealand and spent several years working in various accounting and finance roles. But eventually the childhood dream to make movies took over and he graduated from South Seas Film and Television School with a Directing major. Since then he has written, directed and produced eight short films and one feature film. His last short film "Restoration" has screened in over 20 countries at various film festivals. His feature film "Crackheads" has won numerous awards in NZ and the US. He is in development of two feature films he has written, "Tamada" set in NZ and Georgia, and "Love Forty" set in NZ and Japan.
