Known for his "Spanglish comedy", Eduardo Aponte Rivera was born and raised in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, to Eduardo Aponte Normandia and Edith Rivera Ayala who always inspired in their children the value of hard working and never miss a family vacation. He grew up super close to his sister Lisha and as if it was not enough sleeping in bunk beds at home, he even became roommate again in college with his younger brother Javier. Eduardo started as a theater actor and stand-up comedian during his years at the University of Puerto Rico - Mayagüez, where he graduated as an Electrical Engineer and took all his elective classes in theater. For couple of years he would perform his comedy at night clubs in the west coast of the island after work until decided that his passion has always been acting. He moved to Los Angeles, California in 2011 and started his improve comedy training at Second City in Hollywood. Eduardo started performing his comedy in venues like IO West, Second City and other small venues in L.A. Mr. Aponte, as his mix martial arts colleague know him, can't help to bring his salsa dancing skills and funny expressions while performing his karate moves which helped him to be cast in several short films and work with known director Del Weston in the film "Victims" for the Action on Film festival.
