Tracy Tolliver is an actress, writer, and producer known for her roles in Queen Sugar and Fatal Attraction. The charismatic actor brings wit, drama, with a hint of sophistication to her roles. With a knack for storytelling, she decided to start writing and producing her own projects. First as an executive producer for the short "Dear Sister" then as writer and producer for "Diva, Interrupted," which was inspired by her own story as a divorcee suddenly forced to navigate life as a single mom. Born in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. Tracy is the second of three children. Her dad was a career Navy man so the family traveled extensively across the US. She has lived or has visited almost all 50 states, and attended 11 different schools before college. She served briefly in the US Air Force where she traveled everywhere from Berlin to Denmark. "I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures. It fuels my curiosity and enriches my storytelling. I have total recall, I can remember the slightest of details, dating back to two-years-old." Tracy was first bitten by the showbiz bug after watching reruns of the old Mickey Mouse club. Her dream was to be a Mouseketeer. she thought Annette Funicello was the coolest girl ever. "She could dance, she could sing, and all the guys loved her." She still loves acting just as much as writing and producing, but she feels that it's important for women, especially women of color to be behind the camera as well as in front. "Being in control of the images and the narratives that represent us on screen is vital for the growth and future of the industry."
