Jackie Alyss

Singer Jackie Alyss was born in Bronx New York of Puerto Rican parents. She arrived at Puerto Rico at age 12 where she found her first break in the music industry as a professional dancer. By the end of the 90's Jackie had become one of the most requested models in the reggaetón music industry, with appearances in concerts and videos of music artists such as, Nico Canada, Big Pun, Fat Joe, Tempo, Wisin & Yandel, Héctor & Tito el Bambino, among others. This awakes her interest in television and becomes part of the cast of the "No te Duermas" #1 television program, transmitted on Telemundo Channel 2 Puerto Rico, where she collaborated for several years as a model. During this time, she was also noticed by the prestigious beer brand "Miller" and was chosen as the image of "La rubita". Thanks to the support of her fans, Jackie then presented her first calendar "Jackie 2002". Because of its success in sales, a second calendar was released and called "Jackie 2003". This last one sold out its inventory in record time. In 2003 this Latin sensation...always following her dreams, tagged up with entrepreneur Darwin Quiñones and together produced a television program called "Solo Under" dedicated to the youth and the reggaetón genre, accomplishing to not only enter with success in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, but also in the east area of the United States through the "Super Canal Caribe" network. The TV program was aired live via satellite to more than 12 million households. In this same year, the multitalented artist continued to expand her skills and teamed up with Richie "In the House" and Dj Robert becoming an announcer for radio show "Decapota" aired on Mix 107.7FM in Puerto Rico and on Radio Hit in Nicaragua. During this and the second season of her TV program "Solo Under" Jackie faced a new challenge, this time in drama, and in 2006 she moved to New York City to study acting in the "New York Film Academy". After having graduated at the Academy, she was then offered a part in the movie "Talento de Barrio" starred by reggaetón artist Daddy Yankee. By 2008, Jackie concluded the third season of her TV Show "Solo Under" after 5 years and completed her bachelor's degree in Communications graduating with honors at the Sacred Heart University in Santurce, Puerto Rico. At the present, Jackie Alyss has just released her first music album called "Freedom". The spanglish album contains 13 tracks and includes Electronic, Dancehall, Reggaetón, Dub-step rhythms, among others.
