No one knows the origin of Robert "Bob" Gaudet, a.k.a. "The Commander." Some say he was raised by tigers in the desolate mountains of Tibet. Others say he was born in the Canadian wilderness and spent his childhood years as a stowaway on various merchant ships. All we know for sure is he was raised to be uncommonly courageous and fearless. In 1991, Bob joined the U.S. Coast Guard as a pilot where his abilities to command were immediately recognized and he quickly became a legend. He made it through survival school in a blizzard. Due to his strikingly handsome features, he was cast in an episode of The Deadliest Catch. After his episode was aired, the number of new recruits in the Coast Guard increased by 300%. Bob broke all rescue records during his 20 year tenure, once singlehandedly saving 19 penguin specialists from their capsized research vessel during a double hurricane. In 2006, Bob was the inspiration for the Hollywood blockbuster, The Guardian. Since his retirement in 2010, Bob continues to push the boundaries of aviation, often flying over unforgiving terrain where no other pilot will fly. He was last seen in 2016, taking off with his wife for an island in the Pacific rumored to be the last resting ground of an ancient civilization.
