Michael O'Halloran

Michael O'Halloran's cinematic aspirations began at a very early age, mounting numerous productions throughout his early school years. He honed his skills as a filmmaker producing several short films, many of which went on to win awards in national film festivals. His early success saw him accepted into QUT's Bachelor of Fine Arts Film and Television degree, which he graduated from in 2007. Michael quickly established himself as a freelance director & producer of corporate videos and television commercials, finding great success in the local industry. Michael has produced an impressive body of work directing pieces for Baskin Robbins, Inland Rail, TechnologyOne, Queensland Rail, Energex, Holden, Toyota, Xstrata, Tourism Queensland, Flight Centre, and USQ, to name just a few. Michael's true passion, however, has always been for cinema. With numerous short films under his belt including the award-winning productions The Dossier Case and monster film Break The Rock, both of which he produced and directed, Michael's infectious passion for film fuels everything he does as he now completes post-production on his new feature film, the science fiction mind-bender Space/Time.
