Nicolas Repetto is an Argentinian-American composer, conductor, orchestrator and violinist. In 2012, he moved from Miami to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film and television scoring. Since then, he has scored numerous films and projects such as the documentary feature film, The Sound of Identity, (2020), the feature drama, The Reunion (2020), the Park City/Slamdance premiere of episodic/pilot Tijuana (2019), as well as music placements on TLC, HBO, and in various advertising campaigns. Nicolas' music is a blend of Argentinian/Latin/world influences, classical training, electronics sensibility, and modern film and television soundtracks. Nicolas is also alum of the Society of Composers and Lyricists Mentorship Program and the ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop and had the great opportunity to conduct a 60-piece orchestra at 21st Century Fox under the tutelage of acclaimed composer Richard Bellis ("It"). Nicolas' upcoming film scores and projects for 2021: the expected release of the documentary feature film, The Sound of Identity, about the life of transgender opera singer, Lucia Lucas - featured in the New York Times; the upcoming feature documentary film, The American Question, the upcoming fantasy feature film Empire Queen: The Golden Age of Magic; and the indie feature horror film, Spider. Nicolas' music can be heard on the TLC network, on Univision's Amas de Casas Desesperadas (Desperate Housewives on Spanish television), and on various TV advertisements and jingles for the Beber Silverstein Group. Nicolas honed his film scoring skills and techniques at the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program under Emmy-winning composer, Hummie Mann (Robin Hood: Men In Tights, Dracula Dead and Loving It). Since moving to Los Angeles in 2012, Nicolas has been accepted into the esteemed Society of Composers and Lyricists Mentorship Program, the Christopher Young Tilden House Residency Program for Film Scoring, and has also been featured on ASCAP's Composer Spotlight. He also assists composers, Penka Kouneva (Transformers: VG, Woman Astronaut) and Cliff Eidelman (Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country) with additional music and orchestration on various media and concert music projects. Eidelman has also been a on-going mentor for Nicolas in the business and craft of scoring music for films. Equally comfortable in the concert music world, Nicolas has written music for the South Florida Youth Symphony, Greater Miami Youth Symphony, and orchestrations/arrangements for the Alhambra Orchestra in Coconut Grove. His music has been performed in and around California, Washington, Florida, and New York. He is published by Wingert-Jones Publications and Carl Fischer Publishing.
