Kareem McMichael is a actor, writer, and director. While in high school he started writing plays and short films under his created production company, Karmac Productions in 2003. Mr. McMichael graduated from high school in 2005 and moved to Savannah to attend Savannah State University. He majored in Mass Communications with a minor in Theater. He performed in various plays including The Amen Corner and Macbeth. He has worked in news broadcasting three local network television stations. Mr. McMichael continues to act and has produced several short films such as The C Files (2014) Crazy Night (2015) that have been screened in Atlanta, Savannah, California and aired on TV in the Southeast and abroad. Road to Desegregation (2013), a documentary about the 1963 March on Washington, was screened many places including a film festival in California where it garnered an award for Best Documentary. He is an active member of the Southeast chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences where he serves as a judge.
