Eduardo Aznar

Eduardo Aznar was born on November the 6th 1991 to parents Ernesto Aznar, a successful businessman, and Carmen Sofia Gandara, a model. He decided he wanted to be an actor very early on in his life. When he was 15 he started Drama School in the "Beginners Section", within a semester he was in the "Advanced Section". He studied under the talented actress Patricia Reyes Spindola and Hector "El Maestro" Mendoza, who is widely viewed as the greatest teacher and director in the history of theatre in Mexico, from him, he learned the "Amphibious Method" or "Mendozino Method". His professional career started when he was 15, in musicals, but ended up branching out to more dramatic roles in classical theatre. After Drama School he worked mostly on Theatre, but, when he was 22, he decided to study another career, so he got his bachelors degree in advertising. Whilst he studied he started a production company, with friends, and learned the ropes from "behind the scenes". He ended up producing short films, commercials and music videos. He took a bit of a sabbatical from acting through those years, but he would always make two or three short films, a year, just to stay in touch with his craft and to try and make it better. At 27 he decided to give everything else up and dedicate solely to acting, with the odd production job every now and then, but this time in Film.
