Claire Tudela is a French actress and singer based in Vienna. She trained in Paris, Vienna and the USA. She is a graduate of the drama school Académie Internationale des Arts du Spectacle of Versailles. Her training included focus areas such as improv, comedy, musical and physical theatre such as mask acting technique, fencing and stage combat, Marcel Marceau mime technique as well as ballet. She was part of several international productions, among them the improv-reality-sitcom "Monochrom's ISS" as Dr Claire Saint Jacques and short and independent films such as Le Retour. Some of her theatre credits include Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in the role of Hermia and the American Drama Group production of Molière's "The Bourgeois Gentleman" as Madame Jourdain. Over the years she has continued training with Casting Directors such as 10x Emmy Award-winning Marc Teschner, CSA, and Vicki Goggin and coaches and performers such as Jerry Coyle - Meisner technique - and Ute Lemper. She has been working as a director and an assistant director for several independent theatre productions as well as for the renowned international theatre festival in Avignon. As a singer, Tudela recorded Austrian composer Alfred Polansky's album based on French poems "De la Curiosité du Silence" and performs regularly in various concerts. Besides her acting career, she teaches Commedia dell'Arte acting techniques and works as a French speech coach. She is a certified scuba diver and speaks fluent English and German as well as a little Italian.
