Robert J. Altman

Born in February of 1966 in Elmhurst IL Robert has had acting and storytelling in his blood since he was born. Playing Joseph in a Christmas church play at the age of 5. He later did plays in grade school and took drama in high school. The turning point of his journey was when he lost some dear friends in an unforeseen accident and did not want any regrets. In 1993 he started taking classes at The Second City in Chicago. Auditioning to move on he found himself in The Second City Conservatory which he graduated from in 1996. Before graduating he started working with a wonderful on camera teacher in Chicago-Brenda Pickleman. She has appeared in movies Last Dance, US Marshalls and Groundhog Day. She prepared Robert and on his very first audition he landed the principle role in a commercial. Since then for 23 years he has been a member of SAG/AFTRA. Living part time in Los Angeles and Chicago, Robert has appeared in films Bon Appetite, Tangible, The Opera Lover, Motel 666 and DOW as well as many commercials.
