Kathy grew up on a farm in northern Illinois and majored in music at the University of Illinois. She came to acting later as a means of satisfying a need to find more creativity in her life. Most of her roles tend to be as mother and grandmother although the odd chance to be a mob boss or arrogant socialite are very rewarding.She continues to study acting and can't wait for the next role to lose herself in.
