Asparuh Pertrov graduated from the High School of Arts and Crafts, Trojan, in 1999. He completed his first animated film, First Love in 2008. Since then Asparuh has made more than 20 cartoons, some of which have received national awards (Inside, 2008, Seed, 2009, Forelock, 2010). His latest project was the internationally acclaimed animated documentary Father, produced by Compote Collective, which received 26 awards.
