Born in Santiago de Chile, Andrea Zuckermann is a classically trained theater actress. Her exotic look is attributed to her parents' unique backgrounds - her father is Russian and her mother is of Basque, Sepharadi, and Croatian descent. While studying at Victoria Prieto College, Andrea discovered a love for the arts and acting. At 16, she began her career walking catwalks and starring in commercials and print ads for noteworthy designers and brands around the globe. She was selected to model for Elite Model Management based in Paris and London at the ripe age of 16, but after an unfortunate accident, returned to Chile where she resumed her work as a haute couture model and theater producer. In addition to attending the theater school DUOC UC, Andrea has taken voice workshops with Ana Maria Meza of Instituto ProJazz, clown classes with Alex Navarro in Barcelona, stand-up lessons with Rodrigo Gonzales Rubio, script writing courses with Aliu Garcia, and comic courses with illustrators Alberto Montt and Francisco Olea. She's also studied with Broadway actors Michael Shantz from NY. She has written, directed and produced over 10 Theatrical plays and has been acting on stage for over 20 years but always willing to learn. You may recognize Andrea from her many TV appearances or in the Oscar-nominated film "NO," directed by acclaimed director Pablo Larrain as well as many other films. Lastly, with over 19 million views on YouTube as "Senorita Dulpicado" for the series "Cantando Aprendo Hablar", Andrea stands out tremendously on the Internet. She also written, produced, directed and acted/hosted Corporate events. While artists from all over the world, like Norton Masa, Alfredo Echazarreta, Soledad Alsina, Livia Keller, and Aguilar More call Andrea their muse, she's walked in a number of fashion shows for numerous noteworthy brands as well. Andrea is a talented painter and has had numerous exhibitions in Chile, Spain, and the United States. Additionally, she's judged a number of arts festivals including the Music Festival of the Chilean Army and the Anakena School of Performing Arts Festival for children with down syndrome. A philanthropist at heart, Andrea is an Ambassador for The Maria Jesus Vergara Foundation that cares for children with cancer and once teamed up with Bernardo Javalquinto and Insectologist Alfredo Ugarte's nonprofit, working to reduce the use of plastic bags. She currently belongs to a number of trade unions and artist associations in Chile, including SEDATE, CHILEACTORES, and APECH. In her spare time, Andrea enjoys spending time with her son with actor/director Gabriel Prieto, Vicente Prieto Zuckermann. Vicente went to the Waldorf School of Anthroposophical Philosophy and is now studying film and TV direction at the University of Chile. Andrea believes that living a healthy, fit lifestyle is the key to happiness and calls herself a lifelong Bikram yoga devotee. Besides acting, painting, and directing, she regularly appears on a number of TV shows as a guest and co-host. Andrea (2018) currently lives and travels between Santiago de Chile and Los Angeles.
