Tôru Hidaka

Instigated at the end of 1997 beat crusaders abbreviated as BECR as an experimental U.S. Lo-Fi indie rock unit. The rest of band later joined as a result of continual experimental gigs performed around the Tokyo area. In august 2003 3 of the 4 originals of beat crusaders left the band to eventually go on to form a new band. This left behind only Toru Hidaka who later on recruited 4 new members who make up the beat crusaders today. It's not known why the original 3 left but it doesn't seem they left on bad terms since Hidaka included the masks of his former members in a PV called "sensation" (he was crying in this video). Beat crusaders disbanded in September 2010.
