Lawrence Hennigan

Lawrence Hennigan is an actor and filmmaker of Irish and Native American decent. He is a member of the Mohawk Tribe and has dual citizenship in the U.S. and Canada. He was born and raised in Syracuse, New York. Lawrence has always been passionate about art. He loved drawing, comic books, and movies from a very early age. His first onstage performance was as Captain Trask in his middle school's original musical, "In the Mood for Love." Lawrence knew from that moment on, his life's ambition would be to become a working film actor. In his four years in high school, Lawrence appeared in every play and musical production. After graduating high school, Lawrence attended Onondaga Community College and received an A.A. in T.V. and Radio Broadcasting. He went on to the University at Buffalo, where he received a BA in theater. At UB, Lawrence studied acting under Tony award-nominated actor, Stephen McKinley Henderson. Lawrence now resides in Los Angeles and pursues his passions for acting and filmmaking. He recently finished his first short film which he wrote, produced, performed in, edited and directed, "Interloper." The short will have it's world premiere at the inaugural Tonkawa Film Festival in March 2020. It will also play at the 20th Annual Phoenix Film Festival in the Native American Shorts program.
