Joseph Paul Branca is a professional actor based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Most recently he was seen in the regional premiere production of Pete the Cat as Jimmy Biddle, and Saturday's Voyeur as Elder DeLay Mortenson at Salt Lake Acting Company; in Winnie the Pooh as Tigger, Disney's Newsies as Crutchie, and in the world premiere production of The Velveteen Rabbit as The Narrator at Hale Center Theater Orem; in the ensembles of Matilda and A Christmas Carol at Hale Centre Theatre; and as a performer at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Japan in Osaka, Japan. Other recent performances include Peter Pan as Michael Darling, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat as Benjamin, and A Christmas Carol as Topper at Hale Center Theater Orem; Diary of a Worm, a Spider, and a Fly as Ant at Salt Lake Acting Company; Man of La Mancha as the Cantata Soloist and José at Utah Opera directed by Paul Curran; as a resident company member at Desert Star Playhouse from 2014-15; and as Polydorus in the touring Greek theatre production of Euripides Hecuba. Joseph also works regularly in film and television and starred in the Emmy Award Winning Independent Film Resistance Movement as Rudi Wobbe. Joseph studied acting at The University of Utah, and musical theatre at Westminster College.
