Andrew Tyree

Born in Nuremberg Germany, Andrew found his love for acting during a middle school production of The King and I, and as never looked back. While attending theater school in New York City he began writing spoken word poetry and quickly rose to be nationally recognized and ranked. He's been the opening act for Grammy Award Winning singer Jill Scott on her national tour, won the Nuyorican Grand Slam Championship, the Individual World Poetry Slam and has appeared on BET and VH1. In the acting world, Andrew has starred in countless Indie and festival films. He was recently cast in the Lifetime series Cayman Heat as a series regular. His star is rising and does not seem to be dimming any time soon.
