Sam is a film director born and based in London, UK. Sam began his career in the Props Dept. working on commercials. He trained as a director at the Royal Central Speech and Drama and École Philip Gaulier spending several years afterwards directing theatre and comedy. He was awarded funding by IdeasTap for a short he wrote and directed called The Horsemen starring Richard Ridings (The Pianist, Planet of The Apes, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?) and Thomas Coombes (White House Farm, Save Me). After this followed more short films and music promos including, I Found A Bike Today starring Adeel Akhtar (Four Lions, Les Misérables, Killing Eve), My Lover Cindy by Marika Hackman which won 'Must See' award at the UK Music Video Awards (UKMVAS), and Hand Solo which won Best Music Video at the Innuendo Film Festival. His most recent Short film Asparagus Tips starring Cariad Lloyd (Peep Show, Murder in Successville), John-Luke Roberts (Last Christmas, Doolittle) and Margaret Cabourn-Smith (Motherland, The Hustle) won Best Horror at the Munich Film Festival.
